TARM is a service provider, not a technology provider. What TARM offers is client-centric. Services are based on economic efficiency, high environmental compliance, occupational safety, and supporting well operations.
GEN1 is represented by TARM’s facility at Water Tower Square and the replication of this facility. TARM’s standard of design is physical/chemical treatment with precipitation.
- All fluids and solids are classified as residual waste.
- TARM is responsible for proper disposal of solids.
- A truck unloads/loads in less than 30 minutes. Facility can handle two trucks at a time.
- Treated water is a consistent, predictable fluid that is blended on the well pad.
- Treated water is classified as beneficial reuse by PADEP and is regulatory compliant.
- Operational flexibility allows for pricing based on desired, outbound water quality.
- Occupational safety is a priority – ISNetworld® registered.
- Segregated storage, no blending. Each client gets their water back.
- Daily performance reports emailed to clients with streamlined manifests and invoices.
- Facility tours available for E&P companies.
- Marcellus Shale Coalition member since August 2009.
GEN1 Fixed-Field is an adaptation that is located in the client’s drilling pattern. This approach reduces transportation cost to the minimum.
- Located in client’s drilling pattern, on pad-ready site indentified by client.
- Capacity based on client’s drilling schedule.
- Not wheel-based or skid mounted.
- Classified as central processing facility by PADEP.
- Operates off the grid via gen-set and sat com.
- Designed for indefinite operational life-cycle.
- Innovative use of industry recognized building materials, with no foundation.
- Can be deconstructed and repositioned in client’s next drilling pattern.
- After deconstruction, site is graded and reclaimed.
GEN2 is the facility completed in conjunction with TARM’s application to PADEP Water Quality Management Bureau. This additional technology services clients as they transition from a position of water deficit to water surplus operations and need a final disposal solution.
- Thermal treatment applied after physical/chemical process.
- Byproducts are high quality water, meeting PADEP TDS Strategy, and heavy brine.
- Clients are not required to recycle/reuse water.
