Mr. Schappell is an experienced industrial water/wastewater design engineer. He has varied engineering experience in operations, design, equipment, and consulting for systems handling complex waste streams. He works closely with clients, regulators, suppliers, and other designers to ensure the work is completed in accordance with client and regulatory requirements. His experience includes feasibility testing, and bench and pilot scale proof of concept studies of physical/chemical and biological treatment processes. These studies result in the evaluation, selection, design, and construction of physical/chemical and biological equipment systems to comply with industry and/or regulatory requirements.
During the past three years, Mr. Schappell has participated in multiple studies in characterizing and treating the flowback and produced waters generated during Marcellus Shale natural gas exploration and production activities. These efforts have largely been guided by various energy companies to determine the regulatory compliance requirements, ultimate disposal portfolio options, and ability to recycle and reuse these waters for subsequent gas field operations. He is a member of the Marcellus Shale Coalition Environmental Committee.

Mr. Muggleton has over 25 years of experience in business development. He is a Principal with Larson Design Group. He uses a client-centric approach so that TARM activities support the well operations of gas exploration firms. Mr. Muggleton uses a broad network of logistics companies, real estate professionals, elected officials, regulators, designers, and regulatory knowledge leaders to position TARM and its clients for success.
In the past 3 years, Mr. Muggleton has made multiple presentations to professionals in the gas exploration and production field, elected officials, regulatory agency staff, and has led public hearings. His focus is to maintain TARM’s high-compliance approach and impact mitigation. He is a member of the Marcellus Shale Coalition Legislative Committee.
